Painting on the grazing grasslands of Inner Mongolia was an amazing experience. This is an autonomous region of northern China, encompasses green steppe, arid desert and lengthy sections of the Great Wall of China.

The Singapore Teachers' Art Society was invited by Xu Banda Art Gallery to exhibit our members' works there and also for a cultural exchange with Haining artists. Xu Banda Art Gallary was built and supported by the local government of Haining, honoring Mr Xu Banda and his legacy. We exhibited 30 artworks inclusive of Oil painting, Acrylic paintings, Watercolour painting , Batik painting, Chinese painting and Chinese Calligraphy.

This year our annual Art Camp (8 - 10 Sep 2013 ) is at Malacca (also spelled Melaka) is the capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in southwestern Malaysia. It is known for antique shops and its night market, not forgetting the delicious Peranakan Cuisine.
